Rob flew to Texas from California to come and see me and we spent New Years with my family and checked out the local real estate scene.
Ly is one of my best friends from childhood. She got married on the 30th, just 6 days after her birthday and a couple weeks before her new husband got shipped to Afghanistan.
We all went to the Omni Theater to watch "Night At The Museum" and we had a few contests with those plastic cups in the science room at the Museum of Science and History!
I won the contest for highest stack :)
The day after Christmas we left for the resort again for a few days. Here we are at Lake Palestine, right before we headed back to Fort Worth.
The classic children's Christmas singing at church...Alyssa sang and did the sign language for "Happy Birthday Jesus."
Alyssa had me come to her 3rd grade Christmas party. Oh what fun :)
I met up with my good friend Becky for lunch at TGIFriday's. We got all caught up with eachother and she told me that I was "So California." lol.
My sister and brother-in-law went to Belize so I had the kids for a week. It was weird getting them up for school, feeding them and hanging out...I really learned to appreciate my regular schedule, you know, gettting up at 10 every day :)
For my dad's birthday we went to our favorite Japanese restaurant in Plano called Osaka. All you can eat...yuuuummm!
The next night, I helped my cousin at her restaurant where her Thai friends threw a big party. It was karaoke all night...uh, in Thai! Me and my cousin were behind the counter enjoying the moscato I brought :)
And here I am with my Mommy and Daddy :)
I helped my mom with a catering gig for a Christmas party at the church in Fort Worth. I kept telling everyone that the roast beef was really cat :) hee hee hee. Hey, I can make jokes like that...I'm Asian!
It's been about 75 degrees every day I've been here and the first week of December a cold front blows in for one day and we woke up to snow!

Alyssa and I took advantage of the very large spa tub and bubbles :) We decided that my next house should definitely have one of these!
My sister took me to their timeshare in Tyler and we had a ton of fun for a few days. We are all pretty lousy at miniature golf :) From left to right: Alyssa, Wilai, Bill, Alathia and Stephen.
My sister had a little get together at her house so I entertained the boys with a few games of "spoons." Well...except we used forks cause we were actually out of spoons...
I left for Texas on the 6th. Stephen and Alyssa and I indulge in a little game of Strawberry Shortcake...as usual, I won :) lol.
RUN don't walk to stores everywhere! BACKLASH is available on DVD on November 21st! Catch me in a few scenes as Agent Karen Oshi, and as Co-Executive Producer!!You can see the trailer at: http://a.videodetective.com/?PublishedID=904385
Saturday morning and both Madison and MacKinlee have soccer games at the park. Those girls kick butt! The whole family was there too :)
I took a beautiful November hike at the Santa Anita Hiking Trail with a new friend. The hike was gorgeous with the fall leaves and at the end of one of the trails...a beautiful waterfall!

Happy Halloween! I spent the afternoon hiking at Franklin Canyon with Larry. AND...he found the duck pond for me this time!
Check it out! It's Me, Dora the Explorer and TuPac! And wow, TuPac has hair now!!
She's not just any punk rocker...one of our fav's from the 80's! And me, well, I was a vampire but I couldn't get my teeth to stay in!
Halloweekend 2006! Party at Steve's house! Here's me and the jailbird host!
Paul called me up around 11 p.m. to see if I was feeling spontaneous. We headed over to the Brass Monkey, but when closing time came we hadn't had enough! So we went aross the street to this Korean karaoke place and sang til our voices went hoarse! I got home, oh, around 4 a.m! It was a blast!
I got new hair this month :) Well, the hair is not new, just the cut and color! It's Fall, so I'm turning on the brown baby!
Natasha got married! It was a nice little wedding in the backyard at her mom's house.
I kicked off the first week of October with a nice dinner with George and Ellen in SGV at a great sushi place called Tom Ten Ko.

I headed over to Franklin Canyon for a hike. I brought bread for the ducks, but as you can see, there weren't any! Argh!
A new full length photo of me :) Note to self: Must do more sit-ups.
The conference ended around 5 on Saturday, so to wrap it up we went for an early dinner at Mimi's Cafe. By this time, I had cried off all of my make-up. Mandi and I...we are such hams, I know :)
I bet you didn't know that girls can pee standing up too? Hey, when you gotta go, you gotta go...at an 18,000 women conference, those lines to the ladies room get REALLY long...
Friday the 8th was Gini's official birthday, so we decided to celebrate at Joe's Crab Shack. She galloped around the room while the entire restaurant sang "Happy Birthday." The dinner was very moo-ving :)
We were up early on Friday for the first day of the annual "Women of Faith" conference held at the Arrowhead Pond. We were a small group contributing to the 18,000 other women at the Pond!
I got back from Vegas on Thursday, then went right home and repacked for Anaheim. I picked up a delicious Carrot cake from Jerry's Deli and we all sang Happy Birthday to my best friend Gini (29). I know you can't tell by this pic, but there are actually over a dozen women in our hotel room!
Happy Labor Day! Juicy Brucie and Foxy Mary took Vegas by storm! We started off on the Desperado at State Line and then spent 3 great days at the Venetian. I learned to play Craps, Caribbean Stud, Pai Gow, Let it Ride, and finally, I won $413 in video Keno! Woo-hoo! It's good to leave a winner!!

Last day of the month and my friend Daryl Spivey, a writer, flew in with his wife Rochelle from New York. A small group of us socialized at the Sky Bar on Sunset and had a great time!
My good friend Paul needed a ride to Long Beach so we could drop off and ship his brothers car to Hawaii. Well, it was filthy so they gave us a free voucher to go and have it washed. Before I took this pic you could barely see through the window. Paul decided that they missed a few spots on the hood...next time, I'm gonna have him wash my car!!
I bet some of you didn't know this, but the BEST time to hit Magic Mountain is the week before school starts! My friend Ron K and I picked a Tuesday, and for the most part we walked right on to each ride! I have never covered all the park in just 5 short hours before! Woo-hoo!
The next week my good friend Pedro flew in from the East Coast on business but found the time to squeeze me in for dinner in Beverly Hills at my favorite Cheesecake Factory!
After a great sushi lunch and some catching up, I went to Lester's to get the last of my plants (and my siamese fighting fish) and headed back to L.A!
Life has been exceptional! George (Gini's brother) drove me up to Sacramento in the 18 wheeler! Stuart helped me move all of my stuff out of storage and into the moving truck. Yep, that's right, me and all my worldly goods are now moved in to my new place in West L.A!

I shipped Amanda back to Florida and college life on Monday, but not before we got to peruse the shopping at Hollywood & Highland and of course, the famous wax museum! Look...it's me and Captain Jack!!
On Saturday we celebrated both Madison and MacKinlee's birthdays at Vince's Pasta and Pizza. Yuuummm!!

This was Amanda's last week in Cali. We went to the Getty, Thai Town, and all over Hollywood.

My niece Amanda (18) flew in from Florida this week to experience California! Her first day here we hit Beverly Hills, The Santa Monica Pier, and Venice Beach! We ate at local favorites like Jerry's Deli and Canter's!

The evening of July 4th we headed down to El Dorado Beach (which had no beach by the way- the water was THAT high!) We hopped the wall and laid out our lawn chairs and blankets on the boulders for a front row Fireworks show! It was WAY cool and the weather was perfect on the South Shore!
July 4th! Here we are afer another great BBQ celebrating Neil and Dan's 40th birthday's! Dan truly was born on the 4th and Neil's birthday was actually the 6th.
On Monday we went over to Zephyr Beach right across the state line in to Nevada. The beach was jumpin with music and 20-somethings. I got down in the sand and created this "sand woman" but she got washed away by the shore before I could finish. My favorite comment was: "Nice rack...and I'm not talking about the sand girl."
On Friday night we celebrated Stephanie's 30th Birthday! The Margaritas were flowin!

On Thursday I headed up to Sacramento where I met Mike for dinner and some beer time with him and his neighbor Todd. Lester and I left for Lake Tahoe on Saturday where we met up with the guys for a few days of cabin fun. Left to right: Mark, Dan (the birthday boy), Neil (the other birthday boy), Charles and Lester. During the day we enjoyed biking, beaching, and at night we either hit the casinos or stayed in and played a $5 buy in of Texas Hold'em!

I spent the week reading and getting lots of sun by the pool! On Saturday we all piled over to Steph's house and celebrated Kaden's 3rd birthday!

My mom's birthday was Wednesday so we packed up the crew and went bowling. Alyssa got her own lane with the bumpers in the gutters...I think she bowled a better game than all of us!
Happy Birthday Mommy! May you live FOREVER!!
And lastly, Stephen really needed a hair cut. His mom usually does it...but she gives "scary" cuts. lol.
After the movie, we went home and made balloon figurines. I made a dog, giraffe, flower and halo of horns. The flower was a big hit...
The kids spent the night and we decided to take our last outing to the Omni Theater where we watched "Adrenaline Rush."
This was my last week in Texas :( We headed over to the rental property where my nephew Stephen and my dad were fixing the roof. While on the roof, I managed to pick some peaches from the peach tree and I was chucking them at my nephew. I bent down to pick another one up off the ground and at the exact time I was coming up, my dad chucked a peach down at me and it nailed me square in the forehead. To think, it would have floated right over my head if I had only stayed down! We laughed so hard I was crying, and my dad almost fell off the ladder!

Like my pig tails?!
I bowled a 151 my first game and threw a double! (Two strikes in a row!) Oh and the shoes...HOT, aren't they?!
On Saturday my mom and I went out for lunch and then we went bowling and shopping. We had a ball!! (ha ha ha, no pun intended!)
On Thursday night we picked up an ice cream cake for Alathia to do some more birthday celebrating. Gawd...she's 18 now...I feel SO OLD.
On Thursday our plan was to go to the Dallas World Aquarium but we got really lost. We just ended up eating at Mimi's Cafe since none of the kids had ever eaten there before. My nephew is such a sweet heart. He was the fattest baby, and we used to call him "Sumo."
On Wednesday we celebrated Alathia's 18th birthday. I showed her how to apply make-up and she bought her first make-up kit. The kids wanted all you can eat sushi so it was back to Osaka's!
On Monday I spent the day with my old friend Lee and we went out with a bunch of her co-workers to all you can eat suchi in Plano at a place called Osaka (it was SO good). Here are the waiters singing Happy Birthday in Chinese to our friend Candy.

On church Sunday night Alyssa thought she would show off her muscles.
I just had a good time hanging out with my family. I worked at my cousin Tiki's restaurant a couple of days to help her out. Um...I DO NOT miss being a waitress! I grabbed all of the kids and we went swimming on Thursday. Here I am with my favorite girls! (My Cousin's daughter Sonya and my youngest neice, Alyssa).
Everyone showed up to church on Sunday! Both Aunties (Cynthia and Martha), their kids, and Grandma Taeko all came in for Alathia's graduation and were taking off to get back to their regular lives. Wow, look at all those kids!

Alathia is my sister's oldest daughter, and she graduated from Highschool on Wednesday night. Gawd, she has grown up so fast! I drove to Texas to be with my family for a couple of weeks, and wow, I forgot how long that drive is!
Last day on the island before our flight and after a fantastic breakfast we headed to our favorite fruit stand for one last coconut. These ones I'm holding were ones we found our first day on the island and we kept in the trunk. We dropped one from our 3rd story balcony but it didn't break, lol. Mike also bought me the beautiful Lei around my neck...it lasted all the way back home. We got in after midnight, headed to Jerry's Deli for our 130 a.m dinner, and boy did I ever get a good night's rest. I need a vacation, from the vacation!
Monday was our last full day on the island. Here we are on a motorized raft where we got to explore the Napali coast, and go snorkeling. We saw huge sea turtles and we also got to explore old pirates caves!

We left the ATV camp in a hurry to get back to the hotel to shower and change clothes. Here I am getting ready to get in our helicopter for a 45 minute tour of the entire island! We got to go into a volcano and the view was gorgeous. As every day went...the weather was PERFECT!
Here's the whole group! Woo hoo! Mike really had a great time cause he had never been on an ATV before! We got totally muddy, and I loved it!
On Sunday we woke up early to the town of Koloa where we got to ride ATV's through the back country. We saw the set for Jurassic Park and 40's Days 40 Nights. Yep, that's me tearing through that mud!!
After a little shopping we headed back to Hanamaulu to spend the after noon tubing. A 3rd of the trip was all inside caves that ancient Hawaiians picked through. Tubing was very relaxing and fun. We're laughing so much in this picture because the guy to the far left was holding our tubes for the picture but when the camera man said "3" he splashed us as the picture was being taken. Gotta love the guides!
On Saturday we started with a 12 mile down hill bike ride at 6 a.m. in Poipu. The roads were full of curves and the weather was perfect!
Since we had the time, we decided to go and explore the West side of the island. Once we got to the end of the road, which was filled with about a half hour drive through pot holes and beach sand, we arrived at the Barking Sands Beach at Polihale Heiau Polihale Park where we watched the sunset.
Friday evening we headed up to the Waimea Canyon lookout where you can view the "Wettest Spot On Earth" at the Kalalau look out. It was a bit chilly, and we were 4,000 feet above sea level. We did a little off roading too :)
On Friday we went Ziplining in Hanamaulu. The view was breath taking and we did 7 zips over canyons and a river called "Fire Water." The first zip was like 200 feet up, which made it my favorite! Here I am! Look Ma! One hand!
So here we are at Thursday where we went on a kayaking excursion in Kapaa. We were in a double kayak where we kayaked across the river to some dry land where we hiked to a private waterfall. We had lunch, and I was the only one in the group daring enough to get in the cold water and go swim under the waterfall. I mean, come on, how often does one get to swim in a waterfall, right? After a hike back to the kayaks, we kayak back to land. And yah, our arms were sore the next day, lol.
The next day we got a good look at the Jeep. There was mud inside and out...couldn't even see out of the side view mirrors or my passenger side window. I'm sure the hotel hates us for the towels we used to half way clean the jeep...red, red, redddd muddd.
We went back to the hotel and cleaned up and called around for a tow truck to pull us out of the mud. FYI....Triple A does NOT cover off roading, lol. We ended up with Ron the tow guy- who, by the way, is the only one on the island with the equiptment to make it up Powerline road! Here is me and Aaron sitting in the tow truck. Aaron is Ron's 5 year old. As we approached Powerline in the dark, he said "Oh no, not Powerline AGAIN!" Ron got us out of the mud in no time. We had so much fun that day, Mike says "It was worth the $300!"
We couldn't resist. I mean, come on, we had a 4 wheel drive and all this open land. We went down roads that said "Dead End" and "No Outlet" and we went mudding through hue puddles, dirt roads and streams. At the end of the day we came to Powerline Road, and well, we got stuck in the mud! We were covered in red mud. Thankfully, a guy we met the night before saw us and gave us a ride back to the hotel.
We also drove all the way up to the end of the road near the top of the mountain. We found the bottom to a running waterfall, a dam, and after hiking through some rocks we found a little cove with a mini waterfall.

On Wednesday drove up Kuamoo road and found a beautiful waterfall. Down below we noticed a village and decided to go exploring. Totally a tourist trap, but it turned out to be incredibly fun. We opened our own coconut, fed the peacocks, learned about the Kui Kui nut, and I got to feed the village pig "Brittany."
On Tuesday we hopped in the Jeep and drove around the entire North Shore. We were eating fresh lychee and sipping on coconuts. We stopped at all the beaches, a Farmers market, and we looked at some real estate. The most beautiful million dollar homes are on Kauai!! Here I am in a dry cave.
I flew back in to L.A. on Sunday night and went right to Mike's house. In the morning we hopped in the big yellow hummer and headed for the airport to catch our flight for Kauai, Hawaii. Here I am at the beach at our hotel.

On Sunday we all went out on the boat. Here's Marco drivign and Budny who just got out of the water. Farmer Bob is a show off when he skiis, but hey, he's good and man he looks hot doing it! Budny got on the skiis too and got us all laughing...he's getting better!
This week Farmer Bob flew me in to Sacramento to hang out. On Friday night Charles picked us up in the limo and we had dinner at Bandera's. After that, we headed to The Bridges for drinks. I'm pretty sure I drank, oh, about 2 bottles of Port...Bob was cleaning my dinner up from off the floor in the morning. I know...ewwww. On Saturday I went shopping with Nadine and Marco (visiting from Hawaii) and then Budny met us for dinner and again to Bridges for drinks after.

We all went out to eat on Sunday after church as usual. Here's me and my niece Mandi (technically she's Gini's niece but I've known her since she was a wee thing!)...she turned 21 this week!
Congratulations to Andy and Johanna on their new baby- Kate!
I met Paul for lunch and shopping in Sherman Oaks. We found a buffet Indonesian restaurant...it was sooo yummy. We found a bargain on a cup and Paul bought me a Rainforest Cafe mug to match the one I bought a long time ago. Here he is next to some hokey lawn statue..it's as close to having kids as either of us have gotten, lol.

This week we went to Marsha's art opening. She painted this picture called "Aubrey Rose."

After the dedication we headed to Tokyo Steakhouse for lunch. There were like 15 of us and we had a blast!
You can always count on Mackinlee for some entertainment!
Gini and Samantha had both baby girls dedicated at church on Sunday. They looked so sweet in their cute little dresses :)

On Sunday, we attended Easter Services and then Lester treated me to a nice brunch. The lady at the table next to us was actually stuffing food in a zip lock bag and put it in her purse! We laughed, and laughed! That night I met all of Lester's family and we had Easter dinner. Here's me with his niece and youngest nephew...we took like 20 pictures and were trying to pull off our best funny face....
After dinner we headed to my favorite karaoke spot...The Pine Cove. I have no idea what I was singing...I'm looking a little confused...lol.
Lester and I were pretty fried after the wedding so we headed home to get a nap. Then on Saturday night we met some old friends at CPK for dinner. Yummm.
On Saturday morning Lester, Debbie and I headed to the Delta King. Here I am with Troy and Sherry...they met exactly one year ago to the date of their wedding. We had the loudest table, full of friends and lots of fun. I can't even begin to tell you all the stuff we did! You'll have to ask!
The wedding was a ton of fun. Instead of a bouquet toss, they had the women play musical chairs. You had to dance to whatever song was playing "Vogue," "Walk Like an Egyptian.") I was the final winner and I got a $15 gift card to Starbucks :)
A couple of days later I headed Sacramento to visit friends. Here we are on Friday night at Cheryl's playing poker. $5 buy in and we had 3 tables going. Lester always wins at least one game!
I took Annie up to Runyan Canyon to go hiking and to the dog park wth me. Here we are at the look out where you can get a great view of all of Hollywood and Los Angeles. If you look really hard, you can see all the way to downtown!

Our last day in Florida and my mom and I headed to the Casino Boat with my Aunt Oi. Here we are at sunset as the boat pushes off from the dock. Once we're out 3 miles we are on International waters and the gambling begins!
You would think that after our last fishing disaster that I would stay home, right? Nope...except Maureen didn't go this time, lol. This night we went with my brother's buddy Sean from work (Firemen!). We had a total blast. We caught tons of fish, and the shrimp and crab were biting all night. I reeled in the biggest Red Drum which weighed around 40 lbs. and it was almost 4 feet long!! Because it was so big, we had to throw it back...we caught like 3 big ones within the first 2 hours, but again, had to toss them back!

So on my brother's actual birthday (the 2nd) he schedules a tree job! I was supposed to be just dropping off my nephew to help but I got recruited too. So in my bikini and flip flops I was hauling tree debris to the side of the road. By the time we were done, my nephew and I had this heap twice the size you see it here!
We went fishing on Friday night with the nieghbor Jeff. It was SO COLD. By the end of the night Maureen and I were huddled together under my mom's coat. We only caught 30 shrimp...it was a sllllloooowww night. I think we caught like 3 small fish too. Oh, and we got to wear these dorky head lights so we could see!
We celebrated Bo and Peggy's birthdays on Sunday- they are only 3 days apart. My mom cooked for the whole family.

We park hopped all over the place and ended the night with fireworks at Epcot. Hey, remember the Power Rangers?
My friend Andy is the BEST. He got my entire family in to Disney World, with park hopper passes...for FREE!! We had a total blast. Even my mom was riding the roller coasters!
I left for Florida this week to visit my brother and his family. He picked me up from the airport but it took him about 30 minutes to find the car cause he forgot where he parked! On day 2 I went with him to do a "tree job." We cut down 2 trees...it was actually a lot of fun :)
I said I helped! I also collected chicken eggs every day and I even cleaned out the coop (very gross). I also reapholstered my sister-in-laws stools (gawd I'm handy!) Oh, and last but not least, I loaded up the riding mower and headed to my dad's to mow the property...that was actually fun, probably cause I don't have to do it all the time!
My brother raises rabbits (yes, for food), chickens (for the eggs), and he used to catch the wild pigs but he read some book that said pork was bad so he doesn't do that anymore. Anyway, one of the rabbits had a litter of 13 rabbits but the mother was "bad" and by day 3 it was down to 5 left. I took them inside, looked up some info on the internet, and learned that baby bunnies can eat pedialyte. I fed them for a few days via an eye dropper and kept them warm under a heat lamp. Unfortunately, they still died. :(

What another fantastic week! On Friday I had my spa day...a fantastic facial with Marc Edward (www.MarcEdwardSkinCare.com) who was named the BEST facialist in Los Angeles (and I totally agree!). Then I had a day of shopping on Melrose. A little dinner at CPK and then got a pedicure with foot massage. I headed over to the Javan Restaurant to join the welcoming party for Steve Cohn (bald guy in green on my left). Steve lived a few blocks away from me in Beverly Hills and threw a dinner party every Tuesday night when he lived here but he moved to Costa Rica a few months ago. It was a great welcoming party...there were over 30 people! I had a fun date on Sunday night and we went out for Thai food.
The girls spent the night on Tuesday and we played outside. Mackinlee held on to the leash as Annie pulled her down the sidewalk. It was pretty hilarious.

On Monday I hooked up with Paul in Century City. We had lunch at the mall, and then we went to see Tsotse. Immediately after, we SOMEHOW managed to find ourselves sitting in the theater next door enjoying the next showing of Transamerica. Let's just say that we thought it was 2 for 1 night?? On top of that, we also managed to get free parking (otherwise it would have been $17 each). I'm not at liberty to discuss that wild tale here in writing, but you are welcome to ask me about it :) Then we had a nice dinner at the noodle and boba place in Westwood. How I managed not to take any pictures of Monday's adventures...is beyond me. All I can say is, it was a TON of fun! On Wednesday I met Mom and Laura for lunch at Mimi's Cafe. They told the wait sraff that it was my birthday and they sang to me and brought me a free chocolate cake! Woo-hoo!
On Saturday I headed over to the Redlands Mall to find out that it was the annual Orchid Society judging of orchids. They had tables and tables of gorgeous orchids. I Looooove orchids!

This week was fantastic cause it was my birthday on Wednesday!! I turned 29 this year and so far, me likey :) Rob picked me up around noon and we headed for the closest wine country- Temecula.
We had lunch at the this beautiful winery and I will admit that I drank most of this excellent Reisling!
Here we are at another winery. Hmmm, wonder what I would feel like in the morning if I drank one of these?
Tada! Last stop, and wow this place was big.
End of the wine tour, and I escaped with this lone flower. Happy Birthday to me! Dinner was with Mom and Paul at my favorite Thai restaurant. My camera wasn't working right, or I would have pics of that too. Oh well!
Oh, but the birthday festivities didn't stop on Wednesday! Lester helped plan my birthday bash in Sacramento. I drove up with Gini, Jesse, and the 5 kiddos on Friday night. Here's most of them, and we are in a moving SUV! We didn't get in to Sac until 130 a.m. but we made it through the wind, rain and snow!
Lester sent out evites to my old Sac buddies and we all had dinner at Mana in the Arden area on Saturday night. We were there eating for over 2 hours! Left to right: Morgan, Stuart, Neal, Mike, Me, Lester, Esther and Al. Wendy showed up a little later :)
After dinner it we headed to my favorite Karaoke hot spot, The Pine Cove! Me and the KJ tore it up with Killing Me Softly and then Wendy dazzled us with "I Will Remember You." I sure do miss hanging with you weekly Wendy!
Me and Wendy were the only singers for the night, lol. After karaoke we headed over to Punchline and watched Kim Coles and John Henton do some stand up comedy.
But wait, there's more!! After comedy, me and the boys headed over to Thunder Valley Casino. My friend Danny, from Reno, met us out there. Danny was the big winner for the night and he bought everyone dinner (um, at 2 a.m.) Mike and I crashed over at Lester's...it's been a very long time since I've gone to bed at 5 a.m! Thanks for making my birthday GREAT everyone!
On Sunday I woke up around 1030ish. Lester was kind enough to make waffles for breakfast. We did some shopping...a new duvet for him. Here we are being silly at Bed, Bath, and Beyond. We also have pics from the patio section of Target!
Gini picked me up around 530 on Sunday and we all headed home. We stopped in the Denny's in Modesto for some dinner. Here's Gini with Mackinlee and our newest addition: Kourtlynn. It was a long drive home, and I made it to my door step just after 1 a.m.

Another fun week! On Monday I had a late lunch with Paul in Beverly Hills and of course a little Boba from the Urth Cafe on Beverly Drive. Spent the week visiting Sam and her new baby Aubrey. Mom took Jesse and I to eat at a new BBQ place called Dave's Famous BBQ...oh man, it was good! Rob came to visit me up in Lancaster on Friday and we had a nice dinner too. On Saturday I went to Johana's baby shower...she's having a girl! On Sunday after church, we had almost the entire crew...and we packed El Tereo for brunch!

This week was awesome! Gini went in to labor on Wednesday morning. All day at the hospital, one Starbucks run, and then by 9:42 p.m. she delivered this beautiful 9 pound, 6 oz. little girl named Kourtlynn. This will be Gini's 4th! (and last...so she says!)
So the running joke is that she looks more like me right now than she does her mom or dad!
On Sunday, after church we headed for lunch at El Tereo.
On Friday me, Mom, MacKinlee, and Madison went to see Curious George at the movies and then we had a great lunch at the Texas Land and Cattle Company. Madison was our star photographer.

This week wasn't overly adventurous. A couple dates and the contractors finally showed up at the house to do some work. Meet Aiden. I got to babysit him for my friend Jeff on Thursday. Aiden was definitely my cutest date this week!
On Friday I headed over to Beaumont to spend the weekend with Mom. Mandi came over too and we went to Mimi's for dinner and had lots of girl talk. Saturday was shopping and catchin up on phone calls. Sunday was Superbowl fun at Depac's place with the boys!

Farmer Bob flew in from Sacramento on Wednesday to hang out with me for a couple days. He brought me a shiny gift...half karat diamond earrings! We had hors' de vours at Il Fornio and then a great dinner at Cheesecake Factory in Beverly Hills. Here we are being silly at the bar...that night was so darn fun, we had everyone at the bar laughing.
On Thursday he was kind enough to buy some new tires for my car. We decided to walk across the street to the spa where we got manicures, pedicures and a facial. This is the LAST thing anyone would ever imagine him doing...but he really can be quite the Princess :)
Later on that night after dinner at Ago's we headed to the Brass Monkey. Paul and his date Katie met up with us too. Here's Paul singing the Slim Shady song by Eminem. It was quite good actually :)
Now, Farmer Bob is not much of a karaokier, but he didn't mind having a few drinks and watching the show. After a few hours he did start to sing along to a few of the tunes. I thought I would steal a kiss for the camera, after all, I did get quite the treatment the couple of days that he was here! He didn't seem to mind!
Meet Phi. Phi is one of the stunt guys/ martial arts specialists from my last movie Backlash. The last time we saw eachother was in Trinidad for the shoot. Phi is visiting from Orlando and he stopped in to have lunch with me on Friday.
The week ended with a 3-day seminar called "Life Directions" held by Peak Potentials. We had 800 event goers and I was there to facilitate the event as one of the Life Coaches. Here I am with the team of Life Coaches with specialties in all different areas...hypnotherapy, relationship, weight, etc. It was an amazing weekend, and so many people left knowing what their Vision statement and Mission was in life! Wow, what a break through! I just love what I do!!
On Saturday night Christian drove all the way from Murietta to come see me. We had a great Thai dinner Salatip Restaurant and then on Sunday we went to the movies and giggled through Broke Back Mountain. Here we are in the arcade before show time!

Here's almost all the gals from this side of the family. I'm the only one who seems to be able to stay tan through winter for some reason, lol.
Here's Gini again! We had a baby shower for her on Saturday and there must have been at least 30 people there! Here she is modeling her belly for us. We all had to take a piece of yarn and guess how round she was. I did win a door prize- but it was for another game. She's due on Feb 4th! I lost the bet though...I was sure she would have the baby by that night! This will be her 4th birth!
Rob met up with me on Friday afternoon and took me to look at Million Dollar homes in the Riverside Hills. The homes were exquisite and he knew the story behind most of the homes/home owners there. As it so happens, you have to get on Mary St. to get there. And hey, I always consider myself well on my way to millions!
Rob also took me shopping at the Riverside Galleria. Later on we went to a nice dinner at the Brewery and then met up with Rob's friends (the two to the right of me) Kevin and Cheryl. Kevin owns a sweeeet convertible Porsche. Cheryl was sharing a recent dating horror story. Rob and I...we just listened :)
After drinks at Mario's in Riverside, Rob took me across the street to the historical Mission Inn. It was apparently a very popular place for our Presidents. Here I am sitting in "President Taft's Chair" that was custom made just for him.
Meet Paul. Paul is my world travel'in attorney buddy and one of my old neighbors from Beverly Hills. I met up with the boys later Friday night at this nice little Thai restaurant called Chandara in Larchmont for some fun. We went to the Brass Monkey to karaoke, but we got there too late to sing. We still had a good time jammin to tunes, and I found $20 on the floor!
Meet Chuck. Chuck lives in Tokyo but he's here visiting. I met Chuck at one of Paul's going away parties about a year ago when Paul was traveling the world.
And who can forget Orphan Annie? This is my little 25 pounder from Trinidad. She's about 8 months old now. When she was just 2 months old she was hit by a car and left in the street. After a long day of movie making the Director saw her in the road and picked her up, took her to the vet, and they splinted her broken leg and fractured hip. I ended up falling in love with her so I took her back to the U.S. with me where her leg healed perfectly. You would NEVER know that she ever had a broken leg...because she will jump all over you! I like to tell people "My bitch has legs!!"

On Wednesday Mom took me to her Real Estate meeting in Corona at a Golf Resort. Free food, free hat, a good motivational speaker...ahhh, what more can a girl ask for??

Meet Shawna Shuh (Shoe), motivational trainer and speaker. She is married to a guy who puts horseshoe's on horses. She's also a REALLY good speaker :)

Ah, yep, that IS Mikey...with his cute little GMS shirt! He was baked after facilitating the event for 3 days but he still found the energy to hang out with us in the bar. Oh, and meet Michelle...she's in a great company called Isagenix. I lost 9 pounds using their program a few months ago. She's also a new mom. Go Michelle, go!
We all rounded up for dinner and drinks. Good times, good times!
Meet Mike Zappia. We like to call him Zapp. Hot, isn't he? He's in a cool business called Hello World, which has a cool product called video email. Zapp used to be an All American Football player from Buffalo, NY. He's got that East coast edge....niiiice.
After the event ended Saturday, Jesse and I decided to go ice skating. The event was at the Dallas Galleria, which has a rink on the bottom floor of this 4 story mall/hotel. I didn't fall...not even once. :)
Meet Al. Al is my biological dad from Florida. It was nice to see him. And yah, I know...I don't look like either one of my parents. Who knows? Milk man's baby? lol
Ah ha! Me and Mark Victor Hansen (he was the mastermind behind Chicken Soup for the Soul and One Minute Millionaire) and he was very funny. It was my second time seeing him speak. Way cool. I snuck to the back and got a picture with him while they were wiring him up to speak. It's good to know the facilitators baby!
On Thursday I attended the first day of a 3 day conference called "More Heart Than Talent Mindset Conference." The key note speakers were Jim Rohn and Mark Victor Hansen. This is a picture of me and my long time friend, Glen from New York. Just call him G-Rock!

On Wednesday, I went to my sister's church(no really- HER church...her husband is the Pastor!) And during church, Alyssa drew this picture of me. It says "My Auntie is a Rock Star." It does kinda look like me...
Me and my nieces and nephew Stephen, doing a "Go Team" hold. We are just hams, what can I say?
I told you we were hams. Welcome...er... to the back yard?
We are secretly the family of Asian Ninja's. Can't you tell? Um, yah, the dog too :)
This is the house I bought for my parents. I decided to rake leaves...and let me tell you, I'm not much of a raker :)
On Monday I went to meet my friend Becky and her daughter Christy. We have been friends for almost 5 years now! Becky is a fantastic mother!

Happy New Year Everyone! My resolutions (all come with a PLAN so that they can actually be accomplished): 1. Teach Annie more tricks 2. Finish my book 3. Play more volleyball 4. Volunteer more of my time to charity 5. Be a better listener 6. Stop looking for Mr. Right, and just allow him to find me. I'm sure he's just held up somewhere...I hope he's smart enough to stop and ask for directions!
Meet Maximus. He was my first dog. He's a chubby, long haired Chihuahua. I had to give him a big name cause he's such a small dog :) I flew him home to Texas for Thanksgiving a few years ago and my mom was going to babysit him for me since I was going out of the country. When I got back in January I called her to make arrangements to pick him up. My mom hesitated and then she said "You get another dog?!" Her and dad fell in love with him, and didn't want to give him back. Go figure!
For New Years Eve I went to a church Potluck with my parents. After that, we headed to my cousin Tiki's restaurant where a bunch of my mom's Thai friends were partying. There was Thai food, karaoke, and some cooked wine that Aunt Pam concocted (from her European travels she learned how to make this drink). From top left to right- my favorite Aunt Pam (cause we are SO much alike), me, and Amoi. Amoi is the previous restaurant owner. Bottom row, My cousin Tiki, and on the right, my Mommy.
Friday night I met up with my longest-time friend,Jennifer for dinner. We have been friends since we were like 9 years old. We used to play Barbies together, ride bikes, and shop at the mall. Then we got older, and we have grown up adventure stories too. We have lots, and lots of stories...you'll just have to ask me :)
Alyssa and I would like to give you some tongue :) Hey, girls...just wanna have fun!
On Friday my sister Wilai, and her family came over to spend the night. My sister is 16 years older than me. When I was a kid, they called her my "Mother Hen" cause she loved to take me everywhere with her. We're totally opposite...but still very close. I love my sister!
On Thursday I got my hair done, and afterwards we went to visit my cousin Tiki at her restaurant called "The Bangkok House Thai Restaurant." We usually take the buffet left overs and give them to a family or neighbor that we know is hungry :) Tiki is so short, I can stand next to her and rest my head completely on top of hers, hee hee.
Alyssa has 2 Hermit crabs. We caught one out of his shell. Good thing too...cause we were poking him and he wasn't moving. We almost threw him away thinking he was dead, lol.
My mom doing what she loves to do...sew. Go mom, go!
Last time I was home I taught the kids how to play Black Jack. We use dominos as our "chips". By special request, I was dealer again and we played until I had all the chips. My sister made my favorite "Boba" drink too. Yuuuummmm. I spent the night with the kids on Tuesday night.
This is my sister's oldest daughter Alathia...17! Her hair is so long it goes past her butt. We shopped all day, and had a great time.
Me and my youngest niece Alyssa(8), doing the "fish" for the camera. She was the most high maintenance of the 3...cause she's 8 and is glued to my hip :) I love her!

I surprised my parents and knocked on their door on Wednesday. This is my mom and dad and me at church on Christmas! It was so good to be home for the holidays. We opened gifts on Christmas Eve. My sister, her husband and the kids all came to my parents and spent the night too.

On Tuesday morning my stuff was all tucked away in storage and my car was packed and ready to roll. I rolled off the Farm around 11 and headed to Lancaster. On Wednesday night Gini's daughter had her school Christmas program and then the girls came and spent the night with me. Unfortunately, the camera was out of batteries, so I don't have pics of that :( On Thursday, Gini and I had lunch and did some Christmas shopping. Then on Friday I headed to Beaumont to hang out at Mom's. We went out that night for Thai food at our favorite Thai restaurant (only cause its the closest one for like 30 miles). On Saturday night we attended her company party at a private home and had a great time. Sunday was spa day in L.A. where I got the best facial from Marc Edwards, and then a little massage from Toni. Good times, good times.

On Sunday, Mike and I headed out to Kirkwood for a day in the snow! Here we are eating our Chicken sandwiches from Burger King at like 630 in the morning. Yuuumm!
About 20 miles before we hit Kirkwood, we stopped for a scenic view picture. His long arms came in handy again :)
It's a beautiful day for snow! Mike went snowboarding and I ate it all day on a pair of skiis. Well, when I wasn't walking down the mountain, that is. Um, you'll have to ask me about that one if you want to know the story! Let's just say I almost hugged a tree. I'm way better at putting on a bikini and hanging out on a boat :)
On Friday night Mike and I went to Applebee's for dinner and then I took him to my favorite hole-in-the-wall, the Pine Cove. No karaoke on Fridays though :( After that we headed out to Alamar, across from Farmer Bob's property and we had fun with the crew. Farmer Bob bought us drinks and we all had some good laughs.
Me and Farmer Bob, chillin at the bar. It was Margaritas for him and Goose & Sprite for me! He looks like he's up to something sneaky, doesn't he? Hmmm....
After drinks we headed back to Farmer Bob's and Chef Charles met us there. He was in GQ mode and we took lots of modeling pics. I'm sure they'll end up on the cover of GQ some day!
After I tried like 3 times to take a picture of me and Mike he came to the rescue (so his arms are longer, so what!) and we got off a pretty good shot of us in Farmer Bob's house under rennovation. Then we all fell asleep in Farmer Bob's bed (only cause there's no where else to sleep!) It was a fun night. My last Friday night in Sactown with the boys!
It was my last Tuesday night at the Pine Cove for karaoke. Meet Louis...the best karaoke KJ ever!! He always hooks it up!!
Faithful Wendy...she always shows up! (except when she's on exotic trips to Africa and Malta and Mexico...) She sang "I Will Survive" and dedicated it to me!
Meet Elif. Elif is the life of the party and she can whistle and scream like a crazy banshee! We sang "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun!" You can see the words in the back if you look in the upper left hand corner :)
This is the entire crew, from left to right- Demon, Al, Wendy, Elif, Stuart and um, the drunk gal that found her way to our table (can't remember her name). Louis is in the back running the show. They dedicated and sang "We are Family" for me. It was AWESOME! To all my friends...YOU ABSOLUTELY ROCK! I'll miss sharing my Tuesday nights with all of you!

Lester invited me out to the Elife Host Christmas party. There were about 150 people there and the food was pretty good. From left to right...Cathy, Stephanie, Lester, Debbie, Vanessa. Then me, and that's Stacy to the right of me. We had a blast.
We had a gift exchange at our table and we did it Chinese style...we drew numbers and you could steal a gift twice. I started out with a Starbucks gift card (that I stole from Cathy) but then Christina stole it from me. I ended up with this great snow angel. Unfortunately, I managed to drop it and it broke before I got it home :(

I had a garage sale on Saturday. Lester and Debbie brought their stuff over too and we all made some money! We pretty much sold out of the good stuff and closed shop at one.
Just me, being silly, as usual! I sold that mattress for $5 by the way :)
After dropping off a few boxes of what was left of the garage sale to Goodwill, and taking a nap, we celebrated our garage sale success by going out to dinner and then having some casino time at Thunder Valley! Here's me and Lester outside of Thunder Valley with the Nutcracker. That thing actually moved left to right. It was VERY cold that night too. Did I mention that I won $200 at the quarter slots? Oh yah!! I was quite the money magnet on Saturday!!
It's me and Chef Charles at Farmer Bob's house. Farmer Bob took me to a very, very nice restaurant by the river called The Bridges on the River. Then we called up the Chef and had him meet us in the bar for drinks. Party, party, party! I don't even know what time we all hit the bed, I just know that we had so much fun that I fell asleep by 9 the next night and it was the best 10 hours of sleep I've had in a long time!

My room mate Al decided to break out of his shell and come on out to Karaoke at the Pine cove! He didn't sing...but I bet he hears a good song on the radio today and will think about what it would be like to sing it...lol. Al has been a great confidant, friend, and heck, he has fixed my fence and toilet...gotta love him! He's been a great "dad" and I'm gonna miss him!
Pamela came out to karaoke on Tuesday too! She sang Proud Mary by Ike & Tina Turner and she danced and everything! I love Pamela most for being so genuine! She rocks!
Wendy was posing for us and Nicholas thought he would jump in at the last second. What a clown!! Wendy just got back from a 15 day cruise on the African continent! WoW!

My California "Mom" Sharon flew me in to L.A. so that I could spend the holiday with the family. There were about 30 of us, and we had quite the feast! The next night, Dad cooked and we had our own little Thanksgiving at Gini's (my very pregnant best friend).
I spent Friday vegging out with Gini and then me and the kids helped her put up the Christmas tree. My job was to hang up all the tinsel and lights...OMG, that was crazy, but it got done! Christmas...here we come! I spent Sunday with my friend Paul just hanging out. I totally forgot to take a pic :) Oh well...next time! Happy Thanksgiving!

WOW! What a FABULOUS weekend I had at the the "Secrets to the Millionaire Mind" Event in Los Angeles. I sat amongst 1500 other enlightened individuals and learned some amazing information about money, and how my mind works when it comes to money. 3 Full days...starting at 9 and out around 10 each night! Let me say for the record: I AM A MONEY MAGNET! The last picture is of me and my 'team' after we all broke through a board with our bare hands! It was AWESOME! If you want to attend this 3 day event, valued at $1295 for FREE, ask me how!!
Me and the Guru himself- T. Harv Ecker

Ohhh! So much fun! It was Mike's 21st birthday. We had dinner at Katana's, Comedy at the Laugh Factory, and lots of tequila shots in between. His brother flew in from Colorado to help celebrate. Let's just say that the party was over around 1 a.m. out on the front lawn. Oh, and there was a lot of praying to the porcelain god going on. Well, not for me or Lisa, we were the designated drivers :)
On Saturday it was Deb's 30th birthday and we had a good old time at her place. The pic is me, Debbie, Stephanie, and Lester. Good times, good times. I topped off Sunday at Bobby's new farm. Picked the persimmon tree, and that thing STILL looks full. No pics yet, maybe I'll post them next week :)

Jesse, an old school friend called me up this week to tell me that I HAD to make it to the Halloween party he and Rob were throwing on Friday night. And wouldn't you know it? I hopped in the car and drove to L.A!
They were flabbergasted to see me...its been like 10 years! Had an absolute blast...check it out, I spanked Richard Simmons! (Someone needed to!) Gini, my best friend from 7th grade, was a pregnant Nun (cause she really is pregnant, with her 4th!) I visited the Tarwaters, parents of another old high school friend. I didn't get much sleep, but it sure was fun!

This week I put the house up for sale. The market is good, so we'll see what's out there! It was a relaxing weekend, and I got a lot accomplished.

Wow was this week busy! We (Bobby and I) spent Sunday in L.A. having brunch with our old friend Jerry, and then we saddled up and made the drive back to Sacramento in 4.5 hours. Wow can I drive! lol. Octoberfest all over the place on Saturday, and too many parties to hit. Good times, good times!

Bobby calls me up on Wednesday to ask me to jet down to Jeff Combs "Breakthroughs to Success 3" seminar in L.A. We left on Thursday at noon :) It had to be one of the funnest weekends I've had in a while. Saw old friends, connected with new ones, and I finally broke my arrow! I also broke another board right in half (with ease!) and Bobby and I bent another rebar. Sorry no pics of those...just of me and my buddies :) Did I mention how we partied like rock stars? Oh yah....!!!
Jeff Combs...my coach and mentor. If you haven't been to a Breakthroughs Seminar...you haven't lived!
Bobby- I can always count on him to be spontaneous!

Jesse- my youngest and biggest fan at 13 years old. He's always at these seminars amazing the crowd. I just like it cause he's always telling me how pretty he thinks I am :) lol.

Had some karaoke fun at the Pine Cove as usual. A local artist, Domonique and his manager came out to hear me sing. He liked me and invited me to his show on Friday. Farmer Bob me to a really nice local restaurant called Bandero's and then we rode to the concert in a limo. Partied all night! And now...I'm off to study these books so I can take the exam for my broker's license in a couple months! Wish me luck!

I woke up Monday morning to find that my car had been spray painted. Apparently one of Farmer Bob's psycho ex's or some jealous freak. No problem though, cause it came right off. Kudos to the staff at GEM auto wash on Freeport! Me love you LONG time!! Other than that, it was 3 days in L.A. to finish filming "Backlash" and visiting old friends. I made from L.A. to Sac in 4.5 hours! Ouch! I didn't know wheter to laugh or cry when I saw it. lol.

Director Dave Chamiedes and our co-star Kevin Levrone! Backlash should release in March 2006. Look for it on video! I play CIA Agent Karen Oshi and I co-produced this one!
May 2005- My niece Maureen flew in from Florida to spend a couple of weeks with me. We went to Old Sac, and here we are on the train. We also hit up the Jelly Belly Factory and overall just had a ton of fun!

May 2005- My best friend Tara and I , bending a 7- foor re-bar at the Breakthroughs To Success Seminar (by Jeff Combs) She came out a day early so we could spend some girl time together... AND she did my hair! Thanks Tara!
